Repositioning a familiar grocer with new marketing theme, décor and graphics

Wanting to infuse its supermarkets with its core values and differentiate them from the similar supermarkets, Pathmark, commissioned GRID Partners to rebrand its retail environment. Based on Pathmark brand equity, GP created the “Path to—–” theme, and elevated Pathmark’s commitment to freshness, quality and value. A modern, appetizing design approach to branding, graphics and decor invigorated the store environment, and created a desirable destination for shoppers.
The prototype design was positively embraced by customers and rolled out to all Pathmark stores in 2 years.
