From feel better to look better
Huashi, the largest pharmacy chain in Shanghai, identified its changing urban demographics and the emerging of Watsons stores, the traditional pharmacy chain can no longer meet the growing demands of consumers, hired GRID Partners to help improve its retail strategy, merchandise and presentation.
Studying Huashi stores network found its stores covered most communities, GP expanded the retail strategy from “providing treatment needs when ill to offer day to day health and beauty necessities”, introduced “beauty and care” product lines with partnering brands, to encourage customers frequent visit and increase sales.
GP design a new soft look for Huashi stores, with a fashionable color palette and a contemporary design system, to signify the change and improve the retail experience; also make it simple to be rollout to hundreds of stores.
The new stores design had received many positive responses from local residents and successfully tested out in many communities.
